It's super interesting to me how many viable companies are in any given niche in any given part of the world (e.g. Urban Tech Landscape Berlin). Maybe I've been too focused on the giant monopoly-like companies that dominate the news, but I had not realized how many companies could survive competing or niche-ing in one specific problem area!

Great collection! But there is one thing that I noticed. The loading of images on the landing page is slow. Also, it taking some hiccups while scrolling. Are you using some sort of sheet to site solutions like Pory or sheet2site?

Thanks! and yes I'm using Pory to convert the list I made in Airtable to this site. I've contacted Pory about the glitch so hope it's fixed soon. I'm amazed how no-code services actually works. I didn't write a single line of code for this project.

I've been looking for something like this for clean tech / solar, and "landscape map" seems to be the key phrase to search for this sort of overview for arbitrary sectors.

There doesn't seem to be a set term for these types of maps. searching for terms like "economy maps" or "industry maps" may also help.
