I have to agree with the general principle of this. Hanging on my sister's kitchen wall is a tea-towel printed with a record of a delightful conversation between US and Canadian forces. They each insist the other should divert course. The US forces describe what they are - a carrier group, and again insist that the Canadian forces divert course. The Canadian forces simply reply, "This is a lighthouse." ;)

With all that said, I don't think it applies to licenses at all. Licenses are paperwork. Do I need to say more?

Hmm. I read the whole thing and was surprised and saddened to find it seems genuine. There are some beastly women operating under the flag of feminism, but if I'm any judge of character I don't think Bayley is one of them.

I am curious about the removal of code issue, but I'm sorry to say it's a morbid curiosity. I would like to see if my opinion of ESR's judgement of human issues can get any lower.

Oh no, they're taking us seriously! Quick, add more swastikas!

Heh, seriously, 9front development is done more in fun than anything else, but the 3 main developers are sufficiently talented that rapid progress is being made in several areas where most 9fans tend to struggle. Not only that but 9front's developers seem to be very good at avoiding getting bogged down in peripheral features which divert effort from the drivers and cleanups which Plan 9 really needs.

Ethan, the fun vibe of the project really shows through. I think it is inspiring and inviting. Glad to see you guys having fun with some really cool tech. Keep pushing it forward and keeping us posted!

The native Go integration was a really good move; a lot of interested cross-overs I am sure from the Go community will get into 9front because of that attractive piece.
