Tell that to my brain, it's always optimizing what does not exist!

Thanks for the reminder.

"my VP more headcount and therefore more clout"

This had me thinking, how are they going to get "clout", by comparing AI spending?

This is a great learning tool!

One small improvement, show the return values, not just the result, and somehow visualize if the function has not yet returned.

Maybe it's just because I'm used to debuggeres, but the vertical arrangement of variables and their values seems weird.

Thanks for the suggestion! i'm continuously working to improve the visualization, and your point is very valuable.

Adding to this, both for BGP or HTML if you don't already know what they mean, the "full form" does not really help.

That becomes very evident once you consider how slow a bike can move and still be very stable.

Not only that, you have a pile of layers that could be advantageous in some situations but are an overkill in most.

I've seen Spark clusters being replaced by a single container using less than 1 CPU core and few 100s MB of RAM.

Unless you live in front of the sea, frozen fish is almost always better.

Tomatoes can improve substantially if left without refrigeration, it's one of those fruits that continues to ripen after being picked.

I think there was a Good Eats episode, that tomatoes actually lose flavor if refrigerated - some chemical change, don’t remember the details.

Does it regain the flavour in the same way chocolate does when brought back to room temp, or does it lose flavour permanently?

Unfortunately no.

The cold degrades some molecules involved in the flavour of the fruit.

But also yes. There may be some loss as you describe , but they’ll taste better brought back till room temperature than straight from the fridge .

Have you tried? Maybe it can.

I mean, I'm sure there's some founder out there pitching an AI-powered rubber duck dev productivity tool.

At the very least, someone at Copilot must have pitched a rubber duck avatar as the new Clippy by now...

When something like this comes up I remember CGP Grey's video "Rules for Rulers".

From what I understood, they are just "reserved" areas. e.g. if you have 200 slots, the first 100 are the first "area", the second 50, 25 etc.
