It’s good to see you here! For a long time I was just using your project Sakura CSS file to mane everything look pretty.
Even though I have moved on to using a mix of LaTeX.css and a two column theme, I still love using Sakura whenever I’m crafting a hand rolled HTML page for something.
I've tended to avoid public trackers when I can find what I want on private ones. I'm not sure that they are any safer in terms of consequences resulting from being noticed by media firms and relevant legal groups, but the transfer speeds are generally better (due to there being less leeching presumably), and public tracker UIs tend to be more filled with junk that sometimes gets past my ad/malware filters.
[Not a comment on Audiobookbay specifically, I don't remember having tried that one and it may be great for all I know]
I’m pretty sure the parent comment is referring to capacity constraints. When the Americans come online in the morning, Claude frequently can’t keep up with demand and error messages saying the system is at capacity are common.
I used Openrouter for Claude and Deepseek which chooses between alternative hosts for a given model. I excluded Deepseek provider as its underperforming.
I've noticed it too. When it started the overcapacity messages went away. I think they are switching to models with fewer parameters during oversubscribed hours.
Oh man! Wish I had found out about this 3 years ago. I am graduating in May, and I’ve had a terrible experience with Xfinity trying to self-host. CenturyLink doesn’t even service my apartment complex.
p.s self-plug: for our senior year capstone we are working on a secure/private home router firmware. Since you are in this space (tangentially) and local, I would love to chat with you
Anytime! Give me a call or send me a message, we're out at a crag now in Boulder Canyon taking advantage of the weather, so leave me a message if I don't answer and I'll get back to you asap.
Those are a cancer on YouTube, they don't offer any way to disable the shit. And on mobile it's even worse, there is a dedicated tab button you can't hide, even if you are a paying customer no way to avoid it.
