If all you do is use a browser, the real answer isn't Linux, it's a Chromebook.

Which of course is Linux. But still.


Not anymore, new Chromebooks support Google play store apps.


not to mention crouton is easy to install, giving you an Ubuntu or Debian chroot allowing access to tens of thousands of packages.


If you entrust Google with all your data, then yes.


I feel like Apple is killing smart watches. Android watches are cheap enough that they can make incremental improvements and everyone would be fine with it. Even then, I have the huawei watch, and it's already so, so much better than the apple watch. And cheaper. So I worry that people are going to get fed up with the apple watch before Android watches get a chance to really take off.


Somebody get this guy an editor... or at least a spellcheck.


I know the only reason I use OSX for work is because we have an iOS app. If we didn't have that I, and probably half the other developers, would be rocking some flavor of Linux. You can write software for 99% of users on OSX (with a windows VM, anyways).
