I honestly don't know how they still don't have a solution to this -- it's now September. Low level settings like this should be available outside of the bloatware thats loaded on as a "Smart OS".

Imagine buying a refrigerator and not being able to control the tempreture settings because of some bug in the UI/OS. I can only laugh at what Joe Armstrong (rip) would say about something like this :.)
