The USA has been at war longer than it ever has been. Longer than the vietnam war. Their war exhaustion is showing with their immense political division.
My concern is that neither political party seems all that interested in ending the wars. It's looking more like more wars are coming.

Meanwhile less and less of their constituents are interested in continuing them. Even the former aggressive jingoists seem to have lost interest in the never ending situation in the Middle East.

I dont think that's the right wording. I dont believe that these giant government contractors literally own politicians. I think they dont even need to try to own the politicians. Yes those corps have given Biden lots of money to keep war going. Biden looks like he'll be starting a new war soonish, by the end of the year.
