100% the opposite is true. Svelte stores are extremely elegant and not belabored with boilerplate like Redux.

You can just use Redux if you want, but Svelte Stores are significantly nicer and help with focused updates.

It's vastly simpler. You should try something before you write it off.

Considering you can add redux to svelte... This seems trivial.
