I almost bought one earlier this year and now I am questioning buying into any Google hardware product

Just hardware? They don't support any of their software, either. Even Ads has been a mess for us.

I want to buy from companies that focus. I thought I did that with Nest and invested more than $1,000.

Then Google bought them and has let them shrivel and die. They don't even work well with my Pixel phone.

It feels like I bought a car from Toyota, and then Toyota was purchased by Nestle.
