In NZ being a sex worker is a job like any other. Sex workers don't need a place to be affiliated with to do their job.
The only extra step is that if they advertise online they must do it on one of the half dozen authorized portals which are all free .
This is very important! Because in the NED and GER (at least in theory) the flow of money is client > brothel > sex worker. There is some sort of middleman
As of now this is a very fringe problem even in the US and Europe because a client and a sex worker can agree to see each other informally , but if the powers that be decide to get rid of cash, then it's all the way back to barter. With bags and heels and purses which client bring as a tribute in exchange for sex, that would cause the inability for the sex worker to gather meaningful capital and get out of the trade when she reached her level of desired wealth.
Heels, bags and purses are essentially worthless on secondary markets
