I just don't think the Netherlands is the market for this. Most of my friends would do a lot to avoid subscription. Refurbished phones all the way down.
I don't like the implication that those with underdeveloped motoric skills wouldn't 'taken care' of their phone. I get that it's about things breaking and that costs money, but perhaps says so without the morality play. I wish it weren't so, but things just drop from my clumsy hands...
International phones (Fairphone) works fine on Australian networks. I used my Samsung S4 when I was down under, then replaced with some shitty Xiaomi (poor backpacker) without issue.
