Yeah, I don't think this is true for the average remote worker, and you have no way of proving it. At the end of the day, it does make you stay isolated in your room in front of a screen for 8 hours every day.

That's true for tech work regardless. Having said that, most remote workers do have a better social life from what i've seen. Many are even able to start a family - a luxury for tech workers.
