100% - the roles of user and purchaser being different are a good chunk of the reason most enterprise-targeted software is compete shit. The user has no choice, and the person purchasing doesn’t care provided it’s cheaper by a couple of pennies on the dollar.


Which means it's your job to educate the buyer about your product's value, not cost. If you merely want to save money, buy nothing.
