In the context of what I was talking about above,
I find that this kind of stuff is, for my tastes, better for endurance sports like bike riding and running. I still enjoy listening to death metal, black metal, grindcore, etc. of course, but for working out I have found that I prefer something with more of a "groove" as opposed to just a non-stop acoustic assault at TEMPO = BPM = MAX_INTVAL. That and understandable lyrics that prompt more of an emotional reaction.
